- Automatic information: IP address, browser type and pages visited, collected by Google Analytics 4 to measure how the site is used.
- Cookies: essential cookies plus the Google Analytics cookies described above. We do not use marketing or advertising cookies.
How we use your information
- To pass your quote enquiry to a commercial solar installer covering your area so they can contact you and quote.
- To follow up if your initial enquiry doesn't progress immediately.
- To improve our services (aggregated analytics only).
- To comply with legal obligations.
Lawful basis for processing
We rely on (a) legitimate interests when responding to your enquiry, and (b) consent when you opt in to ongoing communication. You can withdraw consent at any time.
How long we keep your data
Quote enquiries are retained for 24 months. After that, we delete or anonymise.
Who we share your data with
- Form submissions are processed by Formspree (USA) under their privacy policy.
- If you ask for quotes, we pass your enquiry to an installer who can price the work, and we may be paid a fee or commission for that introduction. We do not sell your details to lead brokers or mailing lists.
Your rights
Under UK GDPR you have the right to: access your data, correct it, erase it, restrict processing, port it, and object to processing. Contact privacy@seodons.co.uk to exercise any of these rights. You can also complain to the Information Commissioner's Office.
Security
We apply industry-standard security measures: TLS for all data in transit, encrypted at rest where applicable, restricted access to authorised personnel only.
